The U.S has been leading down this path for decades, but it has accelerated in the past 9~ years since Trump was elected to his first term. Blatant bribes, quick flip-flopping, pardoning and hiring family members and convicted criminals. Crackdowns on protests and movements against the Federal government was rampant, most notably in 2020.
This all of course lead up to his lost and the insurrection at the Capitol. Things only got worse when he somehow got elected to a 2nd term... Violence committed by Federal agents was near immediate. Federal agents are actively disobeying court orders, ignoring jurisdictions and executing innocent people without due process.
For an officer to "neutralize" a person, they must present a very real immediate threat to PUBLIC safety, not the OFFICER'S safety. But instead, our government have a militia roaming our streets and executing individuals they see fit.
This isn't something I enjoy talking about, but it's one I feel the need to. I'm not seeing enough attention on this subject, especially from individuals who would have a problem with it if it was another party in office. My main message is; the government can no longer be reformed, it needs to be abolished and replaced with a system that works for the people but not for the system. Our current system only works for those within it (ie. officials and the rich).
